The Leadership and Management Teams met together on Saturday, April 2nd to discuss the current ongoing season of change and transition that we are in at Runnymede. Pastor John-Mark led us through some time in prayer and reflection and we discussed various aspects of our congregational experience during a time of unprecedented upheaval and change. We engaged in honest conversation regarding both the leadership accomplishments and challenges and during these last two years, including the issue of communication gaps and considered how we might continue to improve this going forward. We had some fun engaging in exercises designed to bring out our own thoughts about what we are doing well and what we need to work on regarding various components of church life and ministry. We also planned to create a transition team heading into the selection process for the next Senior Pastor.
