Pastor John-Mark speaks about the meaning of baptism from Romans 6:1-14.
- “Baptism is a radical act in our self-obsessed and self-worshiping culture.” Do you agree or disagree? Why?
- If you have been baptized, are you living out of Jesus’ resurrection power? How does one live “joined and united” with Jesus (v 3-5)?
- “Sin no longer has the last word [in our lives], grace now has the last word” (see Romans 6:6-7,10-11). What do you think Pastor J-M meant by this?
- What might it mean to live “under the freedom of God’s grace” (v 14)? How would you describe living out of the grace you received that is symbolized in baptism?
