On Resurrection Sunday, John-Mark reminds us of 4 important meanings of Jesus' resurrection:
  • Our God is stronger even than death
  • God’s desire is the salvation of His people out of disaster (Psalm 22 - He's the God of the eucatastrophe)
  • We die to sin, we are alive to God in this life - not only in the life to come
  • A preview of the New Heaven and the New Earth - Jesus is the firstborn from the dead - we too will one day know the fullness of the resurrection!
